Bug in SameTime presence awareness integration in Notes 6.51?

I discovered something interesting while I was implementing an application that uses this really cool new feature. And it is really cool, believe me. But I think there's a little quirk in the current release.

I setup some forms and views to use presence awareness for some name fields we have. One of the fields is particularly appropriate for this - it's a "Domain Experts" field and the people listed in it are intended to be used as resources when working on that type of project. So it's very cool, and the users love it.

So when am I going to tell you about this little quirk I'm complaining about? How about now...

When you add presence awareness to a column in a view, make sure you aren't choosing a categorized column. Why? Well, 'cause it don't work, that's why. You won't see any status indicators, and the right-click menu won't behave either. Anyhow, I haven't seen any mention of this in the documentation or the Notes.net forums, so I thought I'd mention it. If anybody has done this successfully, let me know - I'd love to compare notes.

Puns are the lowest form of humor, I know. But I can't help myself sometimes...
